Discover La Patacona Beach
1. Location
We are aware that one of the main attractions of our Banana Beach Patacona B&B is its location. Next to Malvarrosa Beach and with plenty of activities and landscapes to discover, Playa Patacona Alboraya becomes a place to spend a complete day.
This spacious beach is part of the municipality of Alboraya, Valencia, globally known for its horchata, considered by many as the best in the world. Additionally, despite being next to Malvarrosa Beach, you can explore the more traditional landscapes of the Valencian orchard.
2. Other activities
Playa la Patacona has more than 1 km of sand and is considered a wide beach, reaching 110 meters in width for the most part. Being next to Malvarrosa Beach, it is not as touristy, and various activities can be enjoyed, especially surfing or paddle surfing.
3. How to get there
This Valencia beach welcomes new tourists throughout the year. If you want to visit Playa de la Patacona, getting there is straightforward with buses connecting the city center to Alboraya, Valencia.
Additionally, you can also reach it by bike, one of the most sustainable means of transportation, which holds great importance in our Banana Beach B&B, but we will tell you more about that later. If you are looking to come to Playa La Patacona, find city maps by clicking here.

Time at Patacona beach passes quickly, and you'll likely want more once you set foot on its wide shore. At Banana, we advocate for the slow life, a more relaxed way of living where every moment is cherished.

Very good place to stay on Patacona beach. If you have read other negative reviews, know that they have fixed the defects. There is a TV (for me, unnecessary), the shower works well and the air freshener prevents the smell of pipes quite a bit. You will hear the noise from the street, but it didn't bother me. The bed is comfortable and the room is spacious. Breakfast is good, but not as good as other comments indicate. I will return without hesitation.

Great stay in the penthouse apartment with sea view! Perfect location right by the beach, and with rental bikes or public transport you can reach Valencia quickly. The view from the rooftop terrace is stunning. Cleaning every two days, fresh towels daily, plus water dispenser and coffee machine in the common area – excellent service. The hosts are very responsive via WhatsApp, always quick and helpful with any questions or issues. Some parts of the apartment could use a little update, but it doesn’t affect the overall experience. Highly recommended! 🥰
